Michael Fay leads our Education and Training practice, focusing on strategic reviews and performance improvement advisory services across Education and Training organisations, including: Universities, Private and Public VET training providers, peak bodies and government.
Sudhakar Jayaram leads our Indian education practice. His key areas of expertise and experience are in strategy, marketing and brand development across a range of sectors including education, hospitality, healthcare, media and IT. Sudhakar is particularly focused on the education sector and is currently providing strategic advice and support for The Samhita Academy (www.thesamhitaacademy.com) in Bangalore. Sudhakar has a B.E (Hons) in Chemical Engineering from NIT, Jaipur, an M.B.A from F.M.S. Delhi.
Faisal Badroen is Chairman of AFG VG Indonesia and leads our Indonesian education practice. He has over 20 years' experience in senior leadership positions at a number of Indonesia's most prestigious financial and education institutions, including the role of Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences at the State Islamic University in Jakarta. Faisal has an extensive network of contacts throughout the government, financial services and education sectors and is also involved in a number of charitable organisations including the International Award for Young People (IAYP) as well as prominent socio religious organisations such as Muhammadiyah.
Ian Bishop is Managing Director, Aim for English, Jakarta. In 5 years led the company from startup to market leader in professional language training for companies, organisations and NGOs. Developed focussed strategic and business development skills, and learned to cope with local bureaucracy. Coordinated end-to-end delivery of large-scale communications training projects for international organisations (including ASEAN, the United Nations, the Red Cross and Plan International), Indonesian government bodies (The Treasury Department, Corruption Eradication Commission, and the Ministries of Transport, Trade and Public Works) and businesses (including HSBC, Prudential, and Coca-Cola). 2002-2006, Manager, Binawan Language Centre, Jakarta. Established the language centre embedded within Binawan Institute of Health Sciences, Jakarta. Managed the delivery of Australian ELICOS pathway programmes which enabled more than 300 healthcare professionals to pursue higher education and employment in Australia, Japan and the Middle East.
